Latasha Crenshaw of AC Sweepers has been nominated by the Board of Directors of the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance to receive a 2015 Entrepreneurship Award.  Founded in 2000, the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance offers comprehensive outreach and education to increase the business capacity of small, female and minority-owned firms, and to disseminate information about the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s multi-billion dollar capital improvement project. Latasha will receive her award on April 2, 2015 during the alliance’s annual conference.  The theme of this year’s conference is Transporting to Success: Managing Diversity & Inclusion 2020 Transportation and Construction Related Projects.

Latasha’s award recognizes the work her company has done on the airfield at Hartsfield with Hilite Markings and Kiewit/GSC Atlanta.   Currently her team is ramping up this spring for 3 more projects at Hartsfield-Jackson.  According to Latasha, this award is one of her  greatest honors to date.  “As a small business with big issues and big responsibilities, it’s easy to keep your head down with the daily tasks.  It’s time to look up and see the big picture and know that we all serve a greater purpose not just for the moment but a footprint for the future. It’s an honor to be recognized for our hard work on and off the airfield.”
