Join 1-800-SWEEPER at NPE in Nashville February 1- 3, 2017 as we demonstrate one of our newest benefits for Partner companies, a sweeper operator training simulator. The SweeperSim is the first-in-our-industry simulated driver training tool developed to give real-world experience and best practice training to new and current sweeper truck operators.

During the upcoming National Pavement Expo, we’re inviting NPE attendees test their parking lot sweeping skills by participating in our “Sweeper Rodeo”, co-sponsored by Schwarze Industries and Nitehawk Sweepers. SweeperSim was introduced to nearly 50 Partner companies during the annual Sweeper Summit in November 2016. If the enthusiastic interest at the Sweeper Summit is any indication, NPE attendees are sure to be in for fun and enlightening experience with this new technology.

1-800-Sweeper has developed the industry’s first sweeper operator training simulator to help screen and train operators, before receiving on-the-job training in an actual sweeper. Our organization will publicly showcase the technology – dubbed the SweeperSim – at the National Pavement Expo 2017 in Nashville, Feb. 1-3, 2017.

“Virtual Sweeping” was created to help address one of the highest priority problems in the commercial power sweeping industry – recruiting, training and retaining drivers. 1-800-SWEEPER along with Vendor partners Schwarze Industries and Nitehawk Sweepers will unveil the simulator to the industry and give NPE attendees an opportunity to experience the technology first-hand in the form of a “virtual sweeper rodeo” Feb. 2nd and 3rd in Nashville.

Right then and there, Mat was sold on becoming part of the shared bond that exists between members of the 1-800-SWEEPER extended family of companies.

10 years prior, Mat was a project manager at a security company and had looked at purchasing an existing sweeping company in the Grand Rapids, MI area. When that deal fell through, Mat and Stephanie didn’t abandon the shift to entrepreneurship – they simply delayed it.
