1-800-SWEEPER at Pave/X in San Antonio, 2024

We had a great show at Pave/X in San Antonio Jan 30-Feb 1!  Many thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to learn more about 1-800-SWEEPER. Productive conversations were had with future Partners and Vendor Partners, discussing the benefits of joining our organization.

Our 1-800-SWEEPER Partners in attendance also stopped by to re-connect with us while helping hand out 1-800-SWEEPER stocking hats and other promotional items.

Thanks to NAPSA for hosting another Sweepers’ Night Out, where 1-800-SWEEPER was once again a co-sponsor. This year a Bourbon & Tequila Tasting, a display of take-home local spice samples, as well as a cigar station were all part of the festivities.

Congratulations to our Partner, Dustin Moist, from Cantel Sweeping in Portland, OR for being named the 2024 Ironmarkets Sweeper of the Year. We congratulate Dustin and his team on this accomplishment!

Thank you to NAPSA for hosting another successful Sweepers’ Night Out, where 1-800-SWEEPER was once again a co-sponsor. The 80’s Game Night theme was fun as well as the scavenger hunt.

Congratulations to our Partner, Cole Watts, from More Clean of Texas for being named the 2023 Pavement Maintenance Magazine’s Sweeper of the Year. More Clean of Texas has been providing exterior maintenance in Texas since 2004. We congratulate Cole and his team on this tremendous accomplishment!

National Pavement Expo 2018 Recap

National Pavement Expo was a great opportunity to get recognition for our group, individual partners, connect with Vendor Partners in our Buying Group and introduce ourselves to new, potential Affiliates of the 1-800-SWEEPER group.

Debbie Jacketta, a founding and former Board of Directors member of 1-800-SWEEPER and NAPSA was presented with the Sweeper of the Year Award by Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction Magazine.

Debbie is the first woman to win the award. In an interview published in the February 2018 issue of PAVEMENT, Debbie offers some of the keys to the success and longevity of the business which was started by her parents, Neil and Bonnie Jacketta in 1968.

Sweeper Rodeo Returns to NPE – Booth #241

NPE 2018 will be held February 7 – 10, is your perfect opportunity to meet vendors and really see – up close- the incredible benefits enjoyed by over 50 other independent sweeping companies who are part of the ONLY co-op in the power sweeping industry – 1-800-SWEEPER. As alluded to in our last blog post – 1-800-SWEEPER is once again bringing the fun to NPE with the Sweeper Rodeo featuring The SweeperSim operator training simulator.  During the upcoming National Pavement Expo, we’re inviting NPE attendees test their parking lot sweeping skills by participating in our “Sweeper Rodeo”, co-sponsored by Schwarze Industries and Nitehawk Sweepers.

SweeperSim creates a real-world, night-time driving experience behind the wheel of a parking lot sweeper. The tool is used in the field to provide best practice training to new and current sweeper truck operators. SweeperSim was the first-in-our-industry AR technology introduced during the annual Sweeper Summit in November 2016.
