During Sweeper Summit 2017 in San Antonio, qualifying 1-800-SWEEPER Partner companies were presented checks totaling over $46,000.00. This distribution capped a year of growing rebate dollars that totaled over $101,000.00 which were earned between November 2016 and November 2017.
“When we started looking for opportunities to give value to Partners of 1-800-SWEEPER we envisioned discounts from our vendors as one of the key benefits,” said Greg Blair, Executive Director for 1-800-SWEEPER. “In addition, we thought that rebates based on our increased purchases from those vendors would be a valued added element. We are pleased that this concept has been readily embraced by such prominent vendors and validated by the growth of our buying group rebate program.”
Since the rebate program began, 1-800-SWEEPER has returned over $175,000.00 to Member Partners based on their purchases through the 1-800-SWEEPER buying group. The pool of vendors continues to grow year after year increasing from 15 participating companies in 2016 to 24 in 2017. 2018 will start with a total of all 24 companies offering discounts, special pricing and, of course, rebates on purchases made by companies that are part of the only co-op in the power sweeping industry.
The 24 Vendor companies participating include heavy sweeping equipment manufacturers Schwarze, NiteHawk, Elgin, and Well Made Manufacturing.
Vendor Partners drive value to the buying group, and with more Vendor Partners there is a greater opportunity to earn rebate dollars. Because several of the vendor rebate programs tie into the dollar volume of goods or services purchased, as we grow a Vendor Partner’s business, the rebate percentage earned may increase for those participating partners.
